Legal Help - Save the Mothers Legal Aid (SMLA)

Save the Mothers Legal Aid is a network of human rights organizations. Established in 1999 by Mr. Hamid Raza, SMLA was the first organisation to introduce true human rights in the flung areas District Haripur, NWFP region of Pakistan.

SMLA is a non-political, non-governmental and non-profitable organisation fighting against all forms of torture, cruel inhumane and degrading treatment, forced disappearances, summary execution, child abuse and other more subtle forms of violent repression and human and civil rights violations.

SMLA aids to provide advice, release, rehabilitation and welfare of the illegally and unlawfully prisoned persons, mental patients, drug addicts and also the rehabilitation and welfare of the families of these unfortunate human beings purely on humanitarian grounds in the greater interest of justice and humanity without any affiliation or consideration of any political party and activities. They also provide legal aid and support to all those that need it.

SMLA are a group of human rights activists working against the violation of human rights. SMLAs objective is to provide all kinds of aid to all those in need, especially those who have been abused.
