Payroll Giving – sometimes known as Give As You Earn – is a really easy way to make regular, tax-free donations to us.Each time you’re paid, an amount agreed by you is deducted by your Payroll Department, and sent to us so we can continue to invest in vital aid and relief.There’s nothing more for you to do. And, your donation will be even bigger at no further cost to you, thanks to the Government adding the tax on as an extra donation.For example, if you agree to give £5 to SMT, you only pay £4.00 – if you are a basic rate tax payer – and the taxman makes up the remaining £1.00.How do I donate?Ask your Payroll Department whether or not your company offers the scheme.
