SMT Trust aims to be the first on the ground when an emergency strikes, helping those effected immediately. They can’t afford to wait for us to raise funds before we help, so it’s essential we’re prepared before the disaster hits. When foods, droughts or earthquakes happen, we’re there: providing life-saving food, water, shelter, medicine and toiletries to families who have lost everything. We not only save lives, we rebuild them – we stick around even after the situation has calmed, helping families put their homes back together. The Emergency Relief Project gives all donations towards a global crisis that needs urgent help. This can be anything from a war to a natural disaster. The aim of the project is to provide quick and practical relief to those that need it urgently.
What we do?
Our teams are saving lives around the world responding to emergencies Hundreds of thousands of people are in desperate need of food, water, shelter and medical care. People urgently need food aid; millions of people have no or very limited access to water or sanitation; and many people are now homeless after their homes were severely damaged or destroyed. To be there every time, we need your help, make a donation and you can help build shelters to protect families in crisis, supply clean water to prevent the spread of deadly diseases and ensure that people who’ve lost everything have the basics like food, soap and cooking utensils. All vital. All life-saving.
