Sewing Project
Save the Mothers Trust (SMT) runs two Sewing Machine Training Centres in Pakistan and Abidjan (West Africa), empowering women with skills to achieve self-sufficiency. These centres offer a 6-month training program where 20 destitute women, including widows, are equipped with life-changing skills to support themselves and their families.
Upon completing the training, participants have two options:
- Work at the training centre and earn a sustainable income.
- Receive a Sewing Business Pack, including a sewing machine, needles, threads, and essential equipment, enabling them to work independently from home.
The centres create a supportive environment where women can learn, grow, and achieve financial independence. By providing these women with a sewing machine, SMT enables them to generate a steady income and break free from the cycle of poverty.
Donate £50 today to provide a sewing machine and change a life forever. Your contribution will make a lasting impact by giving women the tools to create a brighter future for themselves and their families.
